The challenge: modernising temporary staff management
An ageing digitisation solution
Fed Group was using an ageing digitisation solution developed by a general technical service provider with no specialisation in the temporary staffing sector. This solution had significant limitations in terms of contract management and timesheets, and no longer met the company’s growing needs.
William Naccache, Administrative and Financial Director at Fed Group, describes the situation: ‘We felt that the technology was a bit outdated and that whenever we said “it would be good if it worked like this”, we always got the same response.’ This obsolete technology complicated day-to-day operations and hampered the efficiency of internal processes.
Unmet needs for change and adaptation
Fed Group felt the need to modernise its tools in order to remain competitive and meet the expectations of its customers and temporary workers. The lack of a mobile app, for example, complicated management for temporary workers, making the daily user experience less smooth. ‘Today, temporary workers can’t do anything without their phones!’ says William Naccache. This situation motivated Fed Group to look for a more modern solution tailored to their specific needs in the temporary employment sector.
Steps: Towards a modern, integrated management solution
Search for a recognised technology partner
At the end of 2022, Fed Group began discussions with Pixid to find a more modern and scalable solution. Pixid was identified as a major player in this sector, offering proven technology with features tailored to Fed Group’s requirements. ‘It was reassuring to know that Pixid was already known to our customers and that they were using this solution.’
Choosing Pixid and integrating it into the IT ecosystem
The Pixid platform offered a user-friendly and modern design that immediately appealed to Fed Group, particularly thanks to the white label option. William Naccache explains: “What quickly impressed me was the user-friendly design of the solution and the mobile app. ” The quality of contact and support from the Pixid teams was also a determining factor in this choice. The contract with Pixid was signed in March 2023, with gradual rollout starting in April 2023.
Collaboration and change management
Fed Group carried out effective internal and external change management to ensure the adoption of the new solution. The tripartite collaboration between Fed Group, Pixid and the Infor back-office software in particular enabled the smooth integration of data flows. William Naccache highlights the quality of the exchanges with the Pixid team throughout the project: ‘We felt a constant desire to move forward and find solutions, even when they weren’t obvious.’
Fed Group’s new graphic identity, finalised at the same time as the launch of the Pixid project, was also integrated thanks to white label platforms, allowing the company to retain its ‘myFedBox’ brand, which is well recognised by its temporary workers and clients.
Results: A successful transition to greater efficiency and satisfaction
Adoption and satisfaction among temporary workers
The new solution has been very well received by temporary workers, particularly thanks to the mobile app. Temporary workers quickly adopted the platform, appreciating its ease of use. For example, advance payment requests, which were previously managed by email, are now centralised and processed in a single click. William Naccache explains: ‘It’s centralised, so we don’t miss anything anymore. ’
Improved reliability and operational efficiency
Improved data reliability has reduced administrative tasks. With Pixid, data is automatically integrated and updated without manual intervention, reducing the risk of human error. Payroll managers, for example, have saved time thanks to a more user-friendly and reliable solution. ‘They were well integrated into the project and were able to test the features, which made it easier for them to adopt the new platform. ’
Positive impact on customers and prospects for improvement
Customers are satisfied with the modernity and simplicity of the new platform. “Complaints related to technical issues with contract management and timesheets have decreased dramatically. Today, we systematically make Pixid available to our customers!‘
Fed Group intends to continue actively participating in the ongoing improvement of the Pixid solution by sharing its feedback and needs. ’Our goal is to remain at the cutting edge of technology and continue to offer quality service to our customers and temporary workers,” concludes William Naccache.
